Toyota Education Grants Support U.S. Manufacturing Industry

The world-class design and vehicle construction inherent throughout the Toyota lineup didn't happen overnight; it evolved over decades of careful planning and intentional innovation. That's why at Toyota of Bountiful, we are thrilled to see the recent news that the Toyota USA Foundation will be providing $5.8 million dollars in education grants to support America's manufacturing industry. Extending the automaker's domestic roots, the action mirrors similar initiatives, such as the U.S.-based manufacturing of the 2015 Toyota Camry.

Here's what Michael Rouse, Toyota USA Foundation President had to say about the recent announcement: "By helping students discover their interests in manufacturing careers now, we can cultivate their talents and passions to bolster this critical field for the future."

A testament to the success of local manufacturing, the Toyota Camry is a flagship sedan that pushes the boundaries of both performance and design. For 2015, the vehicle includes loads of user-friendly features standard, including  an Entune Audio multimedia system, an 8-way power-adjustable driver's seat and a rear back-up camera, to complement the vehicle’s bold new exterior. Furthermore, drivers will be floored by the Camry's automatic projector-beam halogen headlights, which illuminate the road ahead in style.

Under the hood, the Camry boasts an impressive, available 3.5-liter V6 engine that can conquer any road, as well as an optional hybrid engine that gets an astounding 43 MPG city. Laced with technology, the hybrid Camry offers a unique energy monitor feature that displays the gas engine, the electric motor generator and hybrid battery, updating key diagnostic metrics in real-time.
