Toyota Lineup Doubles Down on Safety, Promotes Awareness

Child safety is something everyone can relate to. That's why, at Toyota Bountiful we were proud to see Toyota recently announce the expansion of its national Buckle Up for Life awareness program in conjunction with Child Passenger Safety Week. The program, which works with local hospitals to ensure safe car seat installation, is just one of the many measures the automaker takes to make vehicle safety a top priority, and one we're honored to stand behind at our dealership.

Here's what Latondra Newton, Toyota’s Group Vice President and Chief Social Innovation Officer had to say regarding the expansion: "Toyota has always been deeply focused on helping families get places more safely. That is why we are so proud of the impact we've had with Buckle Up for Life."

Though the entire Toyota lineup includes impeccable features, the 2015 Toyota Corolla stands out for its impressive attention to safety and security.

For 2015, the Corolla includes eight standard airbags, including front and rear side curtain airbags and driver knee and front passenger seat-cushion airbags. The safety features help protect the cabin in the unfortunate event of a collision. Further, the vehicle's Star Safety System helps avoid accidents altogether by bolstering traction control and rapid braking.

The Toyota Corolla also brings safety to life through its LATCH (Lower Anchors and Tethers for Children) system, which aims at securing young passengers when they're onboard, and its available backup camera. The camera uses the vehicle’s in-dash monitor to visualize objects that are in the immediate rear of the sedan to deter accidents.
