Toyota Sienna

The Toyota Sienna minivan is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. For a quarter of a century, it has been the first choice of those looking for a practical and upscale minivan. This year’s model should be no different then. The following is a review of the 2023 Toyota Sienna:

Features

The Sienna is currently in its 4th generation which was launched during the covid era. The 2023 Sienna comes with a single powertrain option – a hybrid – and 7 trim levels. This year’s highlight is the exclusive 25th Anniversary Edition trim – only 2525 of which are to be built.

Powertrain and Numbers

The all-new Sienna 2023 comes with a 2.5-liter hybrid engine that is good for 245 hp and 199 lb-ft. The standard drivetrain is rear-wheel drive but all-wheel drive is optional. The system utilizes the engine’s power thanks to a CVT gearbox.

The Sienna is hence a quick vehicle, even when you compare it to most sedans. It can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in just about 7.5 seconds. Furthermore, it is also a great hauler since it can tow up to 3500 lbs when you equip it properly.

It doesn’t let you down in the EPA ratings either. The 2-wheel drive gets you up to 36 mpg in the city and 36 mpg on the highway. The AWD model should also do well with its rating of 35 mpg city and 36 highway.

Interior and Technology

The Sienna 2023 comes with a cabin that looks gorgeous and is very user-friendly. Testers have especially praised its build quality and the feeling of luxury that it gives, thanks to the high-quality materials used, plus the extensive usage of soft-touch components.

The interior is a roomy one that can accommodate 8 or 7 occupants with ease. The trunk is a massive one that can be made even bigger if you fold down the third row of seats. On top of that, there’s excellent cubby storage provided (18 cupholders are an example).

The following are the trims of the 2023 Sienna and their standard features:

2023 Sienna LE
The entry-level Sienna gets many high-tech and luxury features. It comes with tri-zone climate control, push-button ignition, keyless entry, an 8-way power adjustable driver’s seat, and an electronic parking brake.
