The Tundra’s refreshed exterior gives it a more modern and grandiose look. On the TRD Pro, you upgrade to premium LED headlights, DRLs, fog lights, and taillights. You also get a TRD Pro LED light bar and LED marker lights, along with a couple more LEDs.

It comes with a truck bed that’s 5.5 feet long and a crew cab configuration. You also get a set of stylish and nicely machined 18-inch wheels on the Tundra TRD Pro, along with components such as off-road shocks, and skid plates in the front.

The Tundra TRD Pro is an engineering marvel as it is a full-size pickup that handles corners with ease. Its steering abilities have received praise and the same goes for the quality of its suspension as the occupants enjoy a smooth ride.

It is also great for off-tarmac driving since you get terrain management software on the inside. But more importantly, you get an electronically controlled 2-speed transfer case (w/high and low range), and an automatic limited-slip differential, alongside a very powerful engine.

Reliability and Warranty

The 2023 Tundra models get a score of 72 out of 100 from JD Power, putting their reliability in the average class. The reviews from those who bought it and are using it are also positive; there are no problems associated with the truck.

Also, you get a limited warranty that covers the truck for 3 years/36k miles. There’s also a powertrain components warranty that’s good for 5 years/60k miles. Toyota also offers complimentary maintenance for 2 years/25k miles.

Verdict

The 2023 Tundra TRD Pro is then the ultimate light-duty pickup truck. It is powerful and fast and can tow and haul quite a bit. At the same time, the EPA still rates it favorably and it’s not a gas guzzler. The driveability on and off-road is excellent for the class.
